The British Air Display Association is immensely saddened to hear of the passing of Trevor Bailey.

Trevor was a keen supporter of the British airshow scene for many years through his involvement in the Air Atlantique Classic Flight. Throughout his time at Coventry and Newquay he was instrumental in the safe and successful operation of many vintage aircraft, doing so with an infectious sense of humour and positive attitude. He was also enthusiastic at bringing new blood into the vintage Aviation scene throughout his time, with many pilots and support staff mentored and give priceless experience under Trevor’s leadership.

He was also a display pilot himself, flying his Auster and also a member of the Great War Display Team.
