We are delighted to report a very successful Open Forum event at RAF Fairford on Tuesday 9th November. Particular thanks to RIAT’s CEO Paul Atherton, along with Helen Webb and Peter Reoch for the use of a superb facility. We will look at creating another opportunity for members to finally meet in person and so please stand by for an announcement of an evening social event, possibly the night before the Pre-Season Symposium which is on the 23rd and 24th March 2022.

Over 50 members attended the Open Forum and feedback was universally positive. It was also absolutely invaluable; yielding a raft of suggestions and topics which the Committee can now tackle. One major point; sustainability and environmental concerns, a topic we’ve been looking at and will continue to do so with vigour. The 25th November will see the first Sustainable Events Show at the Barbican; booking for which is now open. Please visit https://sustainableeventsshow.com to find out more.

The Sustainable Events Show is one of a number of events and surveys which we think will be of particular interest to EO’s as planning for 2022 continues. The Protect Duty, also known as Martyn’s Law and other such important matters are the subject of a number of posts recently published on BADA’s News section.

For now, very many thanks to everyone who attended on Tuesday. It was truly wonderful to actually see some of you again and We look forward to creating more opportunities to do so again soon.
