A new edition of Flying Display Standards Document (CAP1724) has been published by the UK Civil Aviation Authority to ensure that the process of display pilot evaluation is standardised as far as is possible .
It has been updated following consultation and provides a single point of access to guidance for Display Authorised pilots (DAs) and Display Authorisation Evaluators (DAEs) in areas such as preparation, standardisation and evaluations; and contains regulatory guidance material to enable those people to perform their tasks, discharge their responsibilities and maintain compliance with applicable aviation law.
