The British Air Display Industry Forum’s aim is to promote best practice and share ideas between major players in the UK air display community. The event is open to all involved in the staging of Air Displays including Display Pilots and Team Owners, Event Organisers, Flying Display Directors, Flying Control Committee member, the Emergency Services, Contractors and other individuals and organisation that provide support.
The day will include the Annual General Meetings for the British Air Displays Association and the Historic Aircraft Association plus a Flying Control Committee Familiarisation Workshop. BADA Members will also have the opportunity to enjoy the General Aviation Expo and showcase flying displays.


The Venue
The British Air Display Industry Forum is hosted at the Imperial War Museum Duxford’s Airspace Conference Centre. Duxford is one of the world’s foremost aviation museums and is also home to a number of private owned airworthy historic aircraft. Duxford airfield also hosts three major annual UK airshows.
Located just south of Cambridge on Junction 10 of the M11 motorway, IWM Duxford is easily accessible from London and the Midlands with ample free on-site parking and is just 25 minutes from London Stansted airport.

Flying Control Committee Familiarisation Workshop
This is for those who currently have no FCC experience and wish to have a better understanding of what the role of the Flying Control Committee is and what responsibilities they have. 15 spaces are available for this workshop. Networking
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of opportunity for networking amongst Forum participants in the exhibition areas. This is the ideal opportunity to build new relationships with the Air Display community and learn from each other. There will be refreshments throughout the day as well as buffet lunch within IWM’s Conference facilities.
