Each year we also mark the achievements of those who have played pivotal roles in the UK Air Display world during their lives.

John Turner (BADA) presents the Lifetime Achievement award to Jeanne Frazer
This notable individual is nominated for the BADA Trophy for 40 years of outstanding work as a UK Flying Display Director and Display Coordinator. From the early days of the Tiger Club Air Shows, through the halcyon years of Shepway airshows at Folkestone, and through to the complex and often taxing demands of numerous Imperial War Museum and Flying Legends displays at Duxford, she has demonstrated an outstanding understanding of the intricacies of operating and flying classic and vintage aircraft of all types.
She has instigated some of the UK’s most inspiring formation flying, both for her shows and on behalf of others but, above all, has been the benchmark for safe flying and responsible operations, something we all aspire to in these taxing times. Known better as ‘Boots’ to closer associates, because there are times when she can be a bit bossy, in achieving her goals of always striving for a safer show, and, value for money for the spectators…. this BADA award for 2015 thus goes most deservedly to Jeanne Frazer.
